Victor de Rut (gov. name Viktor Peshcherov), is born 03.07.1994 in Shtip, Macedonia, and currently living in Norway.
Inspired by his father who is a self-taught guitarist Victor shows enthusiasm for the guitar at a very young age.
He started learning classical guitar at age 8 in primary music school and soon after started performing and attending guitar competitions.
At 15 years he performed his first solo guitar concert in Shtip, Macedonia.
Short after, held concerts all over Macedonia.
With the positive feedback from the audience and teachers and the many ‘first places’ at guitar competitions, Victor decides that guitar is going to be the main subject in his life.
He finishes High School of Music in his hometown, and after that, the “Faculty of Music Arts” in Skopje, Macedonia.
The love for the guitar led Victor to experiment with different approaches, and genres.
Playing in a variety of performance combinations, from classical ensembles, pop music bands, to flamenco – jazz fusion bands. Singing became his new addition to expressing.
Shortly after graduation, he decides to play for a wider audience and moves to Norway.
His style and playing were recognized by the Norwegian audience and his music career continues there.
The jazzy-flamenco influence and the traditional music from his motherland inspired him to start the solo project “Balkan Guitar Concerts” which implements traditional music with a modern touch, looping, and improvising.
